Inside Out Series - Original #1
The Inside Out Series evolved from a creative exploration and journey that I began several years ago. . As an interior designer, I've always been curious about peeking into people's houses. There's something magical about walking at night and glimpsing into lit windows, revealing lives and personal spaces and I started to think about bringing the indoors to the outside, the notion of creating and revealing hidden rooms in a natural setting.
Creating interior spaces in an outdoor context satisfies my appetite for the unexpected. I imagine how a space might feel within the pictured environment. Sometimes it's a scene I stumble upon, other times a room within a building. Both scenarios unveil the unknown to the viewer.
Each space initiates a story that lies within the walls, the trees, and the mind and the Inside Out Series of Collages was birthed!
